| 92ZV-2 New Model Introduction |
 |
| We are very pleased to announce the introduction of the new Kawasaki 92ZV-2.
The 92ZV-2 is a strong 6 to 6.6 cubic yard wheel loader that is the top of its class. It fills the gap between the high performance
90ZV-2 and the popular workhorse 95ZV-2.
The applications that are ideal for the 92ZV-2 are: |
| • |
Load-out applications in quarries or sand and gravel operations |
| • |
Hopper feeding in asphalt plants |
| • |
Log handling in mill yards and paper mills |
| • |
Recycling/refuse applications |
| • |
Fork applications handling pipe, pallets, etc. |
|
|
|
|
|
| The 92ZV-2 is strong enough to do bank digging in sand and gravel to load hoppers or articulated trucks.
It is not only strong, but quick and agile. Operator’s love the power and balance of this machine. It is an easy machine to operate and easy on operating costs too.
The 92ZV-2 was developed from the ground up. Kawasaki engineers decided that to meet their exacting design standards, they would need to develop new systems.
All of the competitive models for the 92ZV-2 originated as stretched versions of the next smaller model. Not the 92ZV-2.
New chassis, new transmission, new hydraulic systems were all developed to allow the 92ZV-2 to be the best in this class.
Maneuverable, yet strong. Quick, but powerful. Easy to operate and economical to maintain. The 92ZV-2 is a machine that you need to demonstrate to see the real value.
You need to sit in the seat to realize that there is a big difference in machines. Kawasaki at its best. |

| 70TMV-2 New Model Introduction |
 |
| We are very pleased to announce the introduction of the new 70TMV-2.
This is a brand new model for us that will allow us to compete better in fork applications in this size class. The 70TMV-2
joins the 65TMV-2 as our parallel lift machines. These are ideal for handling pallet materials or anything that requires parallel lift. The 70TMV-2
also joins the 70ZV-2 to give you products that cover the full range of applications in this large class.
We have always enjoyed a good market share with the 70ZV-2 and now that will be expanded with the availability of the 70TMV-2.
The 70TMV-2 gives you more dump clearance and breakout force than
the 70ZV-2. Otherwise, you have the same high performance and power in both machines. |

| 65ZV-2 Introduction |
 |
| We are very pleased to introduce the new 65ZV-2! This high demand machine is now better than ever. It
incorporates all of the many features of the ZV-2 family plus additional durability improvements. The most
noticeable is the Isuzu engine. While there may have been some concerns up front, we have field tested this
machine and the results have been very positive. Not only does the Isuzu have more power on paper (we went
from 134 HP to 140), but customers noticed the power and smooth transitioning between gears. They also
commented on how quiet this machine is. And, in a significant operator feature, we have made the air
conditioner standard. Quiet, reliable, powerful, and comfortable… it doesn’t get any better than that! |

The new corporation will consist of Kawasaki’s wheel loader operation, of which Hitachi will obtain a 34% stake through purchasing newly issued shares.
The main purpose of the alliance is to join forces in the development and production of wheel loaders throughout the world. By joining the technological strengths and realigning the production capabilities of these three companies, the resulting wheel loader line will be very competitive.
The alliance will allow the new company to pool all of the technological and financial strengths to focus on the Tier IV emissions compliant wheel loader product line.
